SUSTAINABILITY DEVELOPMENT

Throughout its 40 years in business, the Cobra group of companies’ long-term direction has been to move its Sustainability Development program forward through Product, Process, and Happy Workplace initiatives.

Since 2007, COBRA has stated its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable practices in its Code of Conduct.

“COBRA will do business in a socially and globally responsible way. We will strive for a high standard, clean and safe working environment, provide secure jobs for our employees, and build products that provide happiness and enhance quality of life. We will develop products to be environmental friendly using natural resources in a sustainable manner.”

In addition, COBRA will organize further social activities that will create a happy society around us.

COBRA CATEGORISES ITS SUSTAINABLE ACTIVITIES INTO THREE AREAS: PROCESS, PRODUCTS AND WORKPLACE.

PRODUCT

Through years of material development between CAC and key suppliers, the company has developed environmentally-conscious products using natural raw materials where possible. With its design and development capabilities together with a philosophy of innovation, the company continues to work on its Green commitment and product range.

PROCESS & FACILITIES

CAC has integrated various socially responsible and sustainability-focused initiatives across its production lines and facilities. From reduced electricity use and efficiently managing waste to more planted areas throughout the premises.

WORKPLACE

CAC’s most important asset is its people. CAC has developed its employees and provided opportunities in many different areas. For example, the provision of education scholarships, sponsoring children through various charitable welfare organizations, organizing blood donations, and opportunities for employees with disabilities.
